Ingredients
1 ½ pounds round steak, cut in ½ inch by 1 inch strips
Salt and Pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 15 ounce can stewed tomatoes
2 large green peppers, seeded and cut in strips
½ teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon steak sauce
3 cups cooked rice
Directions
Season meat with salt and pepper. Brown meat in hot oil. Lightly saute onions and green peppers, add to meat; add stewed tomatoes, oregano, and steak sauce and cook slowly on top of range for 1 hour, or until meat is tender. Serve on a bed of rice.
